Did Esau Eat Raw Meat?

I recently had a discussion with one of my sons who wants to join an Israelite camp. My son seems almost obsessed with proving Esau is the " white man". In his trying to prove Esau is the white man, he kept going on about Esau eating raw meat and then showing me bible verses trying to prove his point. Below are the bible verses he used
 Genesis 25: 29
And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: 30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

I'm going to start by  allowing and posting surrounding context to the above scripture. He's been programmed to only focus on parts of scriptures the camps want him focused on without surrounding texts. Let's see what surrounding texts say about the red pottage Jacob was sodding (boiling/cooking/stewing).
 Genesis 25: 33
And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright

So here we see Jacob gave Esau red pottage made up of lentils and also gave him bread. Lentils are a type of peas that come in a variety of colors. When lentils cook down, they often lose a lot of their coloring. I saw some red Ethiopian lentil stew that looked absolutely delicious. I mention Ethiopia, because Ethiopia is located in what is called Africa . "Africa" is also where Esau and Jacob were located. where the lentils fed to Esau African lentils maybe?
I Iooked up lentils and all the different colors of lentils, but I wasn"t about to go out to buy, and cook all those lentils just for sake of debate to see what color those lentils cooked down to. The scripture says the red pottage was made of lentils and that was good enough for me. BUT THEN... My son then hit me with this scripture, and with a satisfied smile, much like that of the Cheshire cat, he leaned back and looked at me like *BAM* Below is the scripture

 Hebrews 12:16
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright

MY RESPONSE
The bible doesn't contradict itself, and also defines itself. We know that the Genesis account of the pottage is that it was made up of lentils and it was red. Genesis gives no mention of the pottage being made up of flesh and lentils. The bible calls herbs meat
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat So the word "meat" doesn't always mean the flesh of an animal. I then looked up the actual word meat used in the passage in The Book of Hebrews. The word used for meat is the Greek word- βρῶσις Scripture Reference or Keyword Search G1035 βρῶσις - Strong's Greek Lexicon Number Previous Strong's #G1034 Next Strong's #G1036 Greek or Hebrew Strong's Number Lookup Strong's Number LSJ Gloss: βρῶσις meat Dodson: βρῶσις eating, food, a meal, rust (a) abstr: eating, (b) food, a meal, (c) rust.  MY FINAL CONCLUSION

There is nowhere in those scriptures that imply Esau ate raw meat, or that his brother Jacob would have given him raw flesh to eat. Esau sold his birthright for a simple pot of red pottage of lentils and bread, not a pot boiling raw flesh. It is important to not add to nor take away from the word of G-d, simply to gratify our own hatred, whether or not that hatred is valid. You do the word of G- d a disservice and your own credibility a disservice when you make statements that are so easily debunked.
